Willow Basketry Instruction - willowinstruct.gif (6673 bytes)

If you have decided to take the plunge and begin to learn the techniques of willow basketry you have many options. You may choose to learn one-on-one with an established artist, in a small group tutoring session, an individual class at a craft center or college, or as one of a series of workshops to be held at a basketry conference or festival. If you prefer to go it alone, you could work from the instructions in one of several books or videos.

I have gathered links to willow instructional resources from the United States, Canada and Europe to help you get started. Let me know if you are able to attend one of these workshops or use one of these teaching resources or post your comments on your experiences to the Basketry Discussions Forum.
